This design means there isn't a defined shoulder seam, making it challenging to measure shoulder width in the conventional sense.
Instead, measurements for sukajan jackets typically include:

Length (着丈, kitake): Measured from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem of the jacket.

Chest Width (身幅, mihaba): Measured across the chest from one armpit to the other.

Sleeve Length (裄丈, yukitake): For raglan sleeves, this is measured from the center back of the neck to the end of the sleeve cuff.
Given the unique construction of sukajan jackets, it's advisable to compare these measurements with a well-fitting jacket you already own. This approach helps ensure a proper fit, especially since Japanese sizing can differ from Western standards. Opting for a size that is 2-3 cm larger than your reference garment can provide a comfortable fit.
